Tucked away along the Columbia River in southeast BC, Revelstoke is a city with small-town charm. It was founded in 1880 and used to be a major railway town. Now, it’s one of Canada’s best destinations for outdoor activities.
We love visiting Revelstone Mountain Resort during the winter where skiers and snowboarders come from all over the world to ride down Revelstoke’s epic slopes. When the weather is warmer, a visit to Mount Revelstoke National Park is definitely in order.
There is a lot of history here and most of the locals were all too happy to share it with us. Between the jaw-dropping scenery, friendly residents, fun activities, and great food, it’s not hard to imagine why Revelstoke deserves a spot on our list when traveling through British Columbia.
We always look forward to visiting Revelstoke and after reading our blogs, we know you will too!
