Auckland, aka the “City of Sails,” is located between two harbours on the North Island of New Zealand. While Bailey lived here for a short while, we ultimately ended up in Queenstown, but we still have a special place in our hearts for Auckland.
As the biggest city in New Zealand, there’s no shortage of things to do here. There are great views from Mount Eden and Sky Tower, beautiful beaches to relax on, and plenty of amazing restaurants to enjoy. It’s also a great starting point for day trips to nearby cities and islands.
