Looking for the perfect 3-day Vegas itinerary?
Planning a trip here can be difficult when you only have 72 hours. There are literally thousands of things to do, so picking the best ones and coordinating how to get from place to place can become a headache.
We understand that time is money, so instead of gambling on if an experience is worth doing, we made this itinerary for you. It’s a packed three days but epic, and we included everything you’ll want to do and what you need to know so it goes off without a hitch (unless you’re getting hitched, of course!).

Getting Around Las Vegas
Vegas is pretty chaotic, so knowing how to get around the city is essential. Taxis and Ubers are the go-to for many people, but they can get expensive and take away from your fun money! So let’s go over some other options we think are just as good if not better.
Walking (on the strip only)
Walking is a fun and free way to get around if you’re spending a day on the strip. However, you should know that going from point A to point B can be a confusing mess. The whole thing is set up to have you zig-zagging through as many casinos as possible on your way to your destination. Trust me, it’s easy to get lost or distracted.
Don’t always trust Google Maps (especially how long it says it will take) when walking somewhere and don’t be afraid to ask casino staff for directions. If you’re trying to get to an event and plan on walking, give yourself extra time just in case. Plus, if you get there early, you can just have a drink and play some games!
Honestly though, if you want to see how weird and wild this adult amusement park called Las Vegas is, walking is one of the best ways to do it!
Las Vegas Strip Bus
The Las Vegas Strip Bus is another great way to get around the whole of Vegas for incredibly cheap. I love the flexibility they offer with single-ride, 2-hour, 24-hour, and 3-day passes that you can buy. And with buses coming every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, it doesn’t matter if you stay out late partying!
Routes run both north and south down the strip with some additional stops downtown. I won’t list them all here because there are a ton, but I’ll leave a link to the site where you can see all of the “Deuce on The Strip” stops.
The best way to buy and use your ticket is to download the rideRTC app and purchase your pass there. When you board the bus all they do is scan your ticket and you’re good to go. It’s also crazy cheap at only $8 USD for a 24-hour pass which is great because you can spend that extra money somewhere else!
Hop-on Hop-off Bus
To avoid walking long distances in the heat or paying for expensive taxis we found the hop-on hop-off bus to be the perfect solution. We spent a day using it just to make sure it was legit and it totally is!
How it works is that you pay for a 1-3 day pass and then have unlimited rides for the amount of time you paid for. There are 9 stops around downtown Las Vegas and the strip making it a comprehensive way to get around.
It’s a double-decker bus, includes live narration, and is great for sightseeing. We especially loved learning fun facts about Sin City from a local. And from each stop, it’s easy to reach other nearby destinations by a short walk which was super convenient.
Buses come by each pickup point every hour from 10 am to 4 pm throughout the day and unless you pay for a 3-day pass with an included night tour (7-10:15 pm) the routes end early. It’s kind of a bummer they don’t include it for a day pass because night is when it really gets fun, but oh well.
Besides that, it’s perfect for a day (or three) of sightseeing or just getting around. And with tickets starting at $55 USD, it’s a budget-friendly option as well!

Day 1
Morning – Walk the strip!
They say there’s no rest for the wicked and now that you’ve made it to Sin City, there’s no rest for you either. Check into your hotel, drop off your bags, change into your favorite Vegas outfit, and hit the strip!
I suggest for your first outing to pick a destination on the map to walk to (we will show you our walking itinerary below), but allow yourself to wander and get lost if you want. We’ve been all over the world and Las Vegas has to be one of the best places to just follow your gut and see where you wind up. There are secret restaurants and bars, weird art exhibits, unique places to gamble, and so much more.
But there are definitely some Vegas highlights you won’t want to miss so that’s where an itinerary comes in handy. Below is an amazing walk from Caesars Palace to New York New York we did and think is perfect for your first time on the strip to help you get your bearings and have a great time as well.
Caesars Palace
If you haven’t seen the movie The Hangover chances are you’ve probably at least heard of it. The characters stay at Caesars Palace in the movie and the lobby of this hotel is one of the most iconic on the strip. Not just because of the film, but because it’s just so dang pretty!
The whole hotel was modeled to give people an idea of what life was like during the Roman Empire, minus air conditioning and fancy cocktails of course.
If nothing else, pop your head in to check it out because the fountain, paintings, and architecture are stunning. I mean it’s one of the most stayed-in hotels in the world so you might as well have a look around right? But this is also a great place to start trying your luck with some gambling if you want!
See a free water show at Bellagio Fountain
Perhaps the most spectacular free show you can see on the Vegas Strip is the Bellagio Fountain. With 32 different shows that have water shooting over 1,000 feet (305 meters) in the air, I was blown away by this spectacle the first time I saw it. But it’s not just a water show, there are lights and music that go with it as well! I recommend making another stop at night to see it if you can because it’s simply beautiful.
The fountain has a show every 30 minutes Monday through Friday from 3-7:30 pm and then every 15 minutes from 8 pm to midnight. It also has shows Saturday and Sunday and the schedule is the same except it starts at noon instead of 3 pm.
Walk through the Bellagio Garden
After you enjoy the fountain show outside, make the quick walk up to the Bellagio for another free and just as beautiful experience. Head straight through the main entrance and you will find yourself at the Bellagio Garden.
To call this massive indoor garden stunning is an understatement, there is nothing else like it on the strip. What makes it even better is that they have seasonal exhibitions, so whatever you see is unique and won’t be through again!
You can spend as little or as much time here as you want, but there is so much detail put into these botanical displays I suggest wandering around for at least 20 minutes to get the full effect. I think the Bellagio takes the crown of having the best walk-through entertainment out of any hotel on the strip. It’s classy, gorgeous, and I love that the garden and fountain are both free and accessible to the public.
See the strip from the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck
We’ve seen some pretty amazing stuff so far, but all from ground level. I think it’s high time we see the strip from a bird’s eye view. We loved the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck as a way to see just how expansive and magnificent Vegas actually is. The lights, sounds, people, crazy amounts of traffic, you can see it all from the viewing deck!
Most people go at night because everything is lit up, but it’s also crazy busy. We went during the day and had a ton of fun especially because there weren’t too many people up there. We watched planes come and go, took some pictures, and just enjoyed the view. You don’t need more than 30 – 45 minutes here and since it’s only $29 USD I think the experience is well worth the price and a great stop.
I recommend purchasing your admission ticket before you go, that way you can just waltz up to the top and take in the views!
Check availability and reserve your spot to see the best views of the strip here!
Museum of Illusions – Las Vegas
The Museum of Illusions is exactly what it sounds like. Set up like a regular museum with exhibits and displays except instead of art, you get to interact with these whacky presentations that make for some great pictures. If you’ve had a couple of drinks, get ready for some displays that will have your mind doing backflips!
Drinking jokes aside, we especially loved that this was an activity both adults and children could enjoy making it perfect for families or groups who want a good laugh. You can purchase adult tickets at the door for $45 USD or you can save $5 USD and buy tickets in advance online here. It’s open from 10 am to 10 pm every day of the week.
New York New York Hotel and Casino
Save yourself a plane ticket to New York and just check out New York New York on the strip instead! Okay, it’s not exactly the same, but this hotel and casino is super impressive. For what it’s worth, we’ve been to New York City, walked over the Brooklyn Bridge, and seen the Statue of Liberty and these replicas are surprisingly close. I know some New Yorkers who would disagree with me though!
It’s not just the outside that’s been modeled to look like the Big Apple, but the inside too. Do yourself a favor and wander around a little bit, because it’s got one of the most unique interiors on the strip. We loved that everything looked like you were walking through a neighborhood in Brooklyn or Queens and even restaurants were designed to blend in and add to the aesthetic. It really is a city within a city.
Lunch
Hey, talking about restaurants, I think it’s time for lunch! Since you’re in New York New York, you might as well run with the theme and have a mouth-watering piece of New York-style pizza, or a big ol’ hotdog. Gallagher’s Steakhouse is another great option and I heard that since it’s next to the T-Mobile Arena, members of Las Vegas sports teams like to dine there after games occasionally.
If neither of these options appeals to you or you’re craving carbs after all that walking, Eataly serves up some killer Italian food nearby. But honestly, you won’t go wrong anywhere and chances are if you want something specific to eat, you’ll find it in New York New York.
Afternoon – Enjoy a fun activity
So far I’ve been giving you a step-by-step itinerary, but now I’ll give you a couple of ideas about how to spend the rest of the afternoon before the evening. The ones below are some classic Las Vegas activities and all worthy of your time depending on what you’re into. Of course, there are way, way more than these, but I can personally vouch for the ones we list here as 5-star Vegas experiences.
Top Golf
If you’re even a little into golf at all, I’m going to bet you’ve heard of Top Golf Las Vegas. If you haven’t heard of it, allow me to present what I think is one of the best ways to spend an afternoon on the strip. We came here with our group and had an absolute blast. Don’t be deceived by the name, it’s not just golf, but a range of other fun activities as well.
The main attraction here of course is the driving range. Now I’m not much of a golfer, but that doesn’t mean I can’t tell a high-class driving range when I see one. The Top Golf Las Vegas driving range is incredible and even if you’re not great at hitting golf balls (like me) it doesn’t stop you from having a heck of a time doing it (also like me!).
Besides the driving range, there’s a pool, restaurant, and a bar to relax at during the hottest hours of the day so bring your swimsuit! Each driving range bay is also climate-controlled which is a huge bonus. You can book 2-hour slots at a time and prices range from $89 USD to $163 USD depending on the time slot you want. Both golf clubs and balls are included in the price!
Drive an Exotic Car
I may not have the desire to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to own an exotic car, but luckily I don’t have to pay much at all to drive one for myself in Vegas. That’s right, you can rent an exotic car for two hours and rip around the SpeedVegas Motorsports Park as fast as you want. With over 20 cars to choose from like the Ferrari 488 GTB and Lamborghini Huracan, if you’re a car person this is a dream come true.
What I love about this experience is that they have excellent instructors who work with you one-on-one the entire time. They coach you through how to race these cars and even encourage you to go faster each time! Going over 100 mph (161 km/hr) might seem freaky, but not when you have a great coach to back you up the entire way.
Depending on the package you choose, you’ll get your choice of car and anywhere from 5-10 laps around the track. The popular silver option is $399 USD and lets you choose from the Ferrari 488 GTB or Lamborghini Huracan. The only catch to this experience is that it’s located 20 minutes south of the Vegas Strip so you’ll need to arrange transport. But trust me, this is well worth the trip down there!
Check out the 2,000 glowing reviews and book this experience here!
Gamble
Chances are you’ve probably already gambled (and hopefully won), but you’re in Vegas so you might as well do it some more! You can gamble just about anywhere, but there are lots of options like high-stakes rooms that are a bit hidden away if you don’t know where to look. Be sure to ask casino staff where to find them if you’re feeling lucky!
If you’re still in New York New York, that’s not a bad place to start, but a short walk away is both the MGM Grand and ARIA so you have the pick of the litter. We liked the classy feel of Bellagio when gambling and there are some great places to get cocktails like Petrossian on the main floor as well.
Indoor Skydiving
I love skydiving, but indoor skydiving is a different kind of fun and just as much of a thrill. It lasts longer than actual skydiving, you can do it by yourself (not with an instructor on your back), plus you can do all sorts of fun tricks! Especially if you don’t love heights, Indoor Skydiving Las Vegas has all the fun of jumping out of a plane without actually doing it.
If you’re unfamiliar with the process, let me explain how it works. You show up, get the safety brief, get your suit, goggles, and helmet, and then you go into this massive tube that blasts you with air. Getting shot up from the fans at the base of the floor is an absolute thrill and your instructor will be in the tube with you to show you how to do tricks if you want. Safe, fun, and easy!
I’m also a big fan of indoor skydiving experiences like this one because it only takes 45 minutes instead of hours. Not to mention it’s much, much cheaper. This adrenaline rush only costs $149 USD and that’s a heck of a deal. Great for kids or adults, it’s an awesome group activity!

Dinner – Go for a romantic dinner in the desert by firelight
Vegas is a blast, but it can get overwhelming quickly. This romantic dinner in the desert is a great way to escape the madness for a little while and instead sip champagne and eat a charcuterie board in the mountains as you overlook the city.
What I love about this experience is that it’s only 1.5 hours so you can easily fit it into your schedule with start times at 5 pm, 6 pm, and 8 pm. You’ll need to get transportation to the meeting point, but after that, you’ve got a comfy ride into the mountains! Once you get there, your guide will light a fire, pop a bottle of bubbly, and leave you and your partner to it as they prepare a charcuterie board.
For only $150 USD a person, it’s a fantastic way to make some unique Vegas memories in an area most people don’t see. They even offer a proposal package (wink wink). Keep in mind the desert gets cold at night, so dress accordingly!
Don’t miss out on this unique and romantic Vegas experience – book this tour here.
Night – See one of the best magic shows in the world
The greatest shows on earth happen in Vegas, so it’s no surprise that the best magicians set up shop here as well. To see a world-class magic show firsthand is something spectacular and it’ll easily be one of the highlights from your trip!
The Magician’s Study
Besides seeing magic tricks and sleight of hand I didn’t even know were possible, what stood out about The Magician’s Study was how intimate it was. Compared to some other grand shows in Vegas, this one had very few people and it added to the allure all the more.
Even getting into the study where the show took place was part of the fun since we had to answer a riddle to prove that we were worthy of seeing out-of-this-world magic. And with a magician who wears a giant rabbit’s head, would you expect anything less?
We got lucky and reserved VIP tickets in advance so we were right up front during the show and it was incredible. If you can get them, they are absolutely worth the money! Tickets can sell out months in advance, so if you’re curious about this spectacle consider buying them early.
Reserve your tickets to the Magician’s Study well in advance here!
David Copperfield at the MGM
David Copperfield is easily one of the greatest magicians and illusionists of the last decade, if not of all time. His magic tricks, charisma, and energy he brings to the stage are legendary, so you know his performances are always going to be good!
No show is exactly the same, but he will perform some of his older and most popular tricks so fans of his work are sure to have a blast. Even if you’ve never heard of him, I’m positive you’re going to have a great time. I’m personally a big fan of when he walks through the Great Wall of China, but I won’t spoil the other surprises!
What I love about this show (besides the magic) is that it’s at the MGM Grand so you can get tickets the day of easily and it’s great for groups. There are shows at both 7:30 pm and 9 pm every day of the week, so it’s easy to fit in regardless of when you’re visiting. Depending on where you choose to sit tickets range from $100-$168 USD so they’re also super affordable for a Vegas show!
Purchase David Copperfield’s show tickets here with FREE cancellation options!
Mat Franco at the LINQ
Mat Franco first took the spotlight in 2014 when he won America’s Got Talent and since then, he has only been getting better. His sleight of hand magic is world-renowned as some of the best in the business, but that’s not all you’ll see when you attend one of his shows in Vegas. He has new tricks almost nightly with an emphasis on audience participation. It constantly has you wondering if you’re part of some elaborate trick you don’t yet know about!
But I personally love his laid-back and comedic approach during his shows that has everyone laughing as much as they are being amazed! His shows at the LINQ are easy to book on the same day because of its large venue, which also makes it great for groups. They happen almost daily at 7 pm and tickets start at an affordable $55 USD per person.

Day 2
Breakfast – Brunch at Alexxa’s
Alexxa’s is probably our favorite place we got breakfast in Vegas, and it’s conveniently right across from the Bellagio. If you want my opinion, I highly recommend reserving patio seats in advance so you can take in views of the strip while you enjoy your meal. If you’re a little hungover don’t worry, this is a great place to fix that!
We went for their brunch and I can personally vouch for their Classic Eggs Benedict and Brioche French Toast, but the whole menu looked spectacular. Not to mention bottomless mimosas are always a great way to start a day in Vegas! They open daily at 7 am and brunch goes until 2:45 pm.
Morning – Helicopter Ride to the Grand Canyon
It’s easy to forget that not too far away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas is the Grand Canyon. Neither of us had been before, so we were beyond excited to see it from above during this helicopter ride.
Right off the bat, I appreciated that they had hotel pick-up and drop-off so we didn’t have to figure out how to get to a pickup point first thing in the morning. They have 8 am and 11 am start times, but I suggest going at 11 am so you have time for breakfast. The whole experience takes about 4.5 hours with 1.5 hours of that time being in the helicopter.
From start to finish, we had a 5-star experience. Flying over the desert and Grand Canyon was incredible and the pilot was an excellent guide and narrator. What’s even better is that this tour has you seeing it from the ground at the skywalk as well so you really get a cool perspective of just how big it is. For how much you get to see and experience the $599 USD price tag is a steal of a deal!
If you want to do a helicopter flight but don’t quite have the budget for it, check out our blog about our Viator promo code! This is just for our readers and helps you save money on epic experiences like this one.
This tour is likely to sell out – book your helicopter tour in advance here!
*Alternative option – Full-day tour to Grand Canyon
If you want to see the Grand Canyon, but not spend the money for a helicopter ride don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! I’ll start by saying that while this all-inclusive tour is a great budget option, it does take a full day so you’ll need to plan around that. However, you do get back around 6 pm so if you aren’t too tired there’s still plenty of time for a night of activities!
Considering this experience starts at 6:30 am, I think it’s great they include hotel pickup and drop off from seven locations on the strip, not to mention a hot breakfast and coffee. The drive out to the Grand Canyon takes about 4.5 hours, so it’s a good opportunity to catch up on your sleep if you need it. But don’t miss out on the views of the Hoover Dam and Joshua Tree Forest on the way there!
Once you make it to the Grand Canyon, you’ll have several hours to explore and I recommend paying a little extra for the Skywalk when you book because the views are incredible. Before heading back there’s an included BBQ lunch (vegetarian options available) which is a lovely inclusion to have.
Tickets for this tour (with the skywalk) are only $195 USD which makes it an affordable and convenient way to see the Grand Canyon everyone will love!
Check out the 9,000+ positive reviews and book your spot on this epic tour here!
Afternoon/Dinner/Night – Fremont Street
I love the Las Vegas Strip, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that Fremont Street might be just as good if not better depending on what you enjoy. Before the mega hotels and casinos of the Strip, there was Fremont Street. To this day, that old-school Las Vegas is alive and well.
First established in 1905, it was the city center and as Vegas grew, so did the street. During prohibition (1920-1933), it was a hub for underground gambling and speakeasies which had people from all over the state coming to get a taste of moonshine and play cards. A sign of things to come? Sure seems that way!
There’s a lot to love about this slice of Vegas besides the history, although the history is what makes it so dang cool in the first place. In my opinion, this is the best place to see street performers who move to Vegas to (hopefully) make it big time. They range from drummers to dancers, musicians, magicians, and everything in between. I recommend having a couple of spare dollars on hand to tip them for their incredible shows!
The casinos here are also more old school, so if the flashing lights of the strip are getting to you, consider coming here for a more local experience. In fact, the oldest casino in Vegas is the Golden Gate and you can try your luck there if you want!
It also helps that drinks are much cheaper on Fremont, so if you’re looking for a (slightly) less expensive night of gambling, this street has you covered. Also, keep in mind that most stores sell booze 24 hours a day here and you can take it onto the street with you, so it’s great if you want to stretch your travel budget.
The list of fun activities goes on and on from live music around every corner to a zipline that has you flying between the buildings. You can easily spend an afternoon, evening, or full day here exploring its range of activities, casinos, and bars. Do me a favor and don’t miss it!

Day 3
Morning – Go ATVing in the Mojave Desert
This guided ATV tour of the Las Vegas dunes is a great morning adventure before it gets too hot. I think it’s an especially great activity for groups or families who enjoy a little bit of an adrenaline rush!
I like that they have both one and two-hour options depending on how long you want to commit to exploring. However, I know from experience that once you get going, you won’t want to stop – so I suggest taking a two-hour tour at either 6 am (for sunrise) or 8 am for the best experience.
I also like that it has a max of 10 people, so even if you don’t know everyone in your group, you’ll quickly make friends and the guides can give a personalized experience to everyone.
Even if you’re a beginner and have never been on an ATV, you’ll love hitting the trails and seeing the Mojave Desert dunes up close with your guides. Keep an eye out for all sorts of tiny critters like roadrunners, scorpions, and maybe even snakes – yikes! Don’t worry though, this is a super safe tour that has plenty of chances for you to cut loose and rip around if you want.
All necessary gear is provided, but you might want to bring a backpack with some extra water, sunglasses, and sunscreen. This is also surprisingly cheap for everything you get and is only $100 USD for the 2-hour tour.
Read the 3,400+ 5-star reviews here and book this tour before you go.
Lunch – Get In-N-Out Burger
If you’ve never been to In-N-Out Burger, now is the time for you to experience one of America’s most beloved burgers. If you have been, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Either way, the In-N-Out on the Las Vegas Strip should not be missed!
When you order I recommend getting something off of the not-so-secret secret menu. Personally, I’m usually getting my burger Animal Style! It’s not just burgers though, their shakes and fries are killer! You can also get some sweet merchandise that’s unique to Vegas to show the world how much you love this high-quality fast-food chain.
Afternoon – Pool Party
There is no shortage of pools to party at in Vegas and we loved the ones that we went to. Keep in mind these are actual pool parties with live DJs, excessive amounts of booze, and lots of people.
Most pool parties have a cover charge of anywhere from $20-$100 USD and that’s not including drinks (which are notoriously spendy), so plan accordingly. We only did general admission which was fine for us, but if you don’t mind spending the money, you can rent private cabanas with bottle service and your own server.
These parties are of epic proportions and happen at all of the most luxurious pools on the strip like the Cosmopolitan, MGM Grand, and Venetian. If you aren’t staying at one of the major hotels with a pool, this is the only way to access them since pools are for guests only.
If you do plan on going to one, be ready to wait in line for a little while to be let in and maybe have a few pre-pool party drinks. Of course, sunscreen is a must because buying it at the pool will cost you a pretty penny.
Dinner – Buddy V’s Ristorante
Outside of Italy, Vegas might have some of the best Italian food around, and tucked into the Venetian is Buddy V’s Ristorante, one of our favorite places we ate during our trip!
I’ll be honest, it might be hard to enjoy any other spaghetti and meatballs after the ones I had here because they were so good! We both decided to have pasta dishes but their full dinner menu has some other classics on it as well like pizza, chicken parm, and a variety of fresh salads.
Making a reservation wouldn’t hurt, but if you didn’t, chances are they’ll still have room for you because it’s a big place. I liked that they had it set up so there were tables that were good for romantic dinners and others that could easily fit large groups. So regardless of however many people you have, they can make it work!
I also think this is a great spot for dinner because it’s a short bus ride or walk away from our next activity.
Night – Ride the High Roller and see all of Las Vegas
The High Roller was the perfect evening activity and didn’t take up too much time, making it easy to fit into our itinerary. As the biggest observation wheel in the world, it gives you incredible views of Vegas all lit up.
This is different than your average Ferris Wheel though – I loved that we got a whole air-conditioned pod with an observation deck to walk around in. If you’re lucky, there will be a concert happening at The Sphere and you can see an amazing light show from up high!
What made it even better was that we booked these happy hour tickets and got free drinks for the entire 30 minutes it takes to make a rotation. Considering drinks in Vegas can be expensive, you can really get your money’s worth at this open bar while you’re taking in incredible views. Especially since tickets are only $82 USD! Our bartender was awesome to hang out with and made sure we (and everyone else) got more than a little buzzed during our time on board.
But if you aren’t interested in happy hour drinks, you can book standard tickets instead for only $34 USD. There’s no bar inside these so if you want it to be a family-oriented activity, this is a perfect option.
If you want more details on what the experience is like, check out our review of the High Roller here!
Don’t miss out – book your happy hour tickets here or standard admission to the High Roller here!
Night Part 2 – Have some laughs at a Comedy Club
Comedy Celler Bar at the Rio
Since 1981, the Comedy Cellar has been giving people laughs and hosting some of the best comedians in the business. What we enjoyed about our evening was the diverse lineup that ranged from people we had never heard of to bigger names like Jon Laster and Mark Cohen. But they’ve had some legends come through as well like Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr!
Shows are at 7 pm and 9:30 pm each night and go for about 2 hours with anywhere from 3-5 comedians performing.
There’s a full bar so you can buy drinks which we appreciated, but they’re a little spendy. Tickets range in price depending on where you want to sit, but we snagged a preferred general admission table for $32 USD a person. Overall it was a fantastic night out and we would recommend the Comedy Cellar to anyone who wants a laugh!
Check the lineup and reserve your tickets in advance here!
Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club
Located in the MGM Grand, Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club is a classy spot that has a wide variety of regular and guest comedians coming through. There are three comedians over an hour and a half so you get a decent mix of styles. Brad Garrett has a knack for finding edgy comedians, so if you like that style this is the show for you!
There’s a full bar with table service and jokes are always funnier when you’ve had a few, am I right? The show starts at 8 pm and depending on where you want to sit you can buy tickets that range from $83-$107 USD.
Book your tickets before you go and get FREE 24-hour cancellation options!
LA Comedy Club at The STRAT Hotel and Casino
If you’re looking for a more family-friendly comedy show (18 and up) the LA Comedy Club is a great choice. There are three shows a night at 6 pm, 8 pm, and 10 pm and I like that each is only about an hour long so it’s easy to fit into your itinerary.
This is also one of the few venues that offers a 20% discount to people who sit in VIP, so if you want the best seats in the house and some cheap drinks, they’ve got you covered! The only slight downside is that the venue is about 15 minutes away from the strip so you’ll need to go a little out of the way depending on where you’re staying.
Don’t let that stop you though, it’s a great time! You can book standard tickets for $40 USD or VIP tickets for $58 USD.
Check availability and reserve your tickets here so you don’t miss out!
Where to Stay in Las Vegas
There are about a million options on where to stay in Las Vegas, so it really comes down to your budget, location preference, and what you want to do! Keep in mind that prices can fluctuate by season or if there is a big event going on! But to help narrow down your options, here are our top three picks on the Vegas Strip.
Bellagio – $$$
There’s no doubt that the Bellagio is the premier hotel and casino on the Vegas Strip. So if your travel budget allows, I can’t think of a better place to stay for a lavish experience! Centrally located in the heart of the Strip, you’ll find multiple restaurants and bars, 5 pools, a spa, a huge casino, and amenities to make you feel like royalty.
Rooms are available varying from an average hotel room up to multi-bedroom strip-view suites, but even the “average” room is fitted with marble features. Regardless of what you choose, it will be luxurious and the service is top notch.
Prices range from $240 USD to $1,600+ USD, depending on the time of year and which room you select. Book your stay at the Bellagio on Booking.com
The LINQ – $$ (where we stayed!)
We stayed at The LINQ Hotel last time we were in Vegas and loved it! It’s centrally located on the Vegas Strip which means it’s super easy to visit the best casinos and restaurants. We also liked that it has direct access to the LINQ Promenade which is a huge open-air district with shopping, restaurants, and the huge High Roller Ferris Wheel which we hopped on one night!
The rooms are modern with artsy touches and if you can, try to get one that faces the strip or the High Roller Wheel for the best views! Prices can go as low as $50 USD, but average more around the $100 USD mark and can go higher depending on availability. Book The LINQ online here!
Excalibur – $
Just because you’re staying on the Strip doesn’t mean you have to blow your budget. The Excalibur is a great choice to stay within budget and still get that Vegas resort feel. Located on the south end of the Strip, it’s a short walk to the main attractions. You won’t be compromising quality with spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms, 4 onsite pools, 14 restaurants, and a large casino.
Best of all, rooms start at $21 USD! Check availability and book the Excalibur on Booking.com.
Don’t Forget Travel Insurance!
If you’re looking to save money on travel insurance, we currently use and recommend SafetyWing. We’ve been using their coverage since 2018 and they’ve had our backs when we needed emergency flights and got sick overseas.
SafetyWing is one of the cheapest providers out there and covers everything from medical costs to lost luggage, travel delays, and emergency flights. A huge difference we’ve found between them and other companies is that they let you take out a policy AFTER leaving your home country. We’ve also found it handy that it’s a monthly payment rather than a lump sum, and you can get a refund for unused time.
SafetyWing has helped us out in some scary situations before and their affordable coverage has given us peace of mind. You can read our honest review of SafetyWing for all the pros and cons.
