Nothing brings people together like food, and this small-group cooking class was one of the most memorable experiences we had on the Amalfi Coast. With only 10 people, it felt more like a gathering of friends, and by the time we sat down to eat, we felt like family.

From the moment we arrived, Francesco, Fabio, and Nikolo made us feel at home. Before heading into the kitchen, we explored their terraced gardens, where we learned how locals have farmed these hillsides for generations.

As we walked through lemon trees, olive groves, and vineyards, Francesco shared stories about the region’s famous Limoncello, olive oil, and wine. Then came my favorite part—gathering fresh vegetables and herbs straight from the garden for our dishes!

Next, we tied on our aprons—it was time to cook! With our hosts guiding us, we made bruschetta, handmade gnocchi, and creamy lemon tiramisu, each dish bursting with fresh flavors. Our hosts’ passion for food was contagious, showing us how simple ingredients, when used the right way, create something truly special!

The best part? Enjoying a multi-course feast of everything we made, perfectly paired with local wine. Every bite tasted better knowing we had made it ourselves, and by the end, we were already thinking about recreating it at home!

4. Go on a boat and snorkeling excursion along the Amalfi Coast

There’s no better way to experience the Amalfi Coast than by boat, and this small-group tour made every moment unforgettable. It had everything—stunning views, crystal-clear water, and just the right amount of adventure.

The traditional gozzo boat was spacious and comfortable, and from the moment we stepped on board, our captain made us feel like VIPs. We set off from Amalfi, cruising past hidden beaches, rugged cliffs, and ancient watchtowers. Our first stop was the Saint Andrew Grotto, a massive cave filled with stalactites and shimmering blue water.

One of the coolest sights was the Arc of Lovers, a natural rock arch shaped like two elephants kissing. We sipped Prosecco while listening to its romantic history before anchoring near a grotto for a swim in Conca dei Marini.

We stopped often to take photos, catch our breath, and just marvel at where we were. By the time we finished, not only did we get a good workout—we were completely in awe of what we had just experienced!
