There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bakeries where you can eat yummy Moroccan food, and it’s fun to wander around the lively streets in the evening.

Of course, a visit to the Hassan II Mosque is a must in this area, and it’s just a short tram or taxi ride from the City Centre. And if you want to experience traditional Moroccan markets and Casablanca’s scenic narrow streets, you can always head over to the Old Medina. It only takes 10-15 minutes on the tram!

City Centre doesn’t have the historic charm of the Old Medina, but the convenience is hard to beat. Everything you need is close at hand, and it’s an ideal base for exploring Casablanca without spending too much time in transit.

Ain Diab 

Ain Diab, also known as La Corniche, is Casablanca’s beachfront playground. If you’re looking for vacation vibes and beautiful beach clubs, this is where you should stay. 

The area stretches along the Atlantic coast and is lined with palm trees and countless entertainment options. It’s perfect for travelers who want to enjoy scenic coastal walks and soak up the sun. Personally, we like L’Eden Beach Club because it has a huge pool and giant inflatable pool beds to lounge on.

The neighborhood is lively at night, but in general, the atmosphere here is more laid back than the hustle and bustle of the City Centre and Maârif. And nights out in Ain Diab are definitely a lot of fun. The beach clubs often throw parties, but there are also trendy bars set back from the beach, as well as plenty of dance clubs around, and restaurants where you can enjoy a sunset dinner.

We also think Ain Diab is a good option because it’s well-connected to other parts of Casablanca. It doesn’t take long to find a taxi here, and the tram can take you to the City Centre or Maârif in just a few minutes. The area is also close to the Royal Palace of Anfa and several shopping complexes, giving visitors plenty of options for entertainment. Between that and the beaches, you definitely won’t get bored here!
