We discovered some truly unique sights on this four-hour sightseeing tour with our private guide. It was immersive, informative, and a good way to get to know Turks and Caicos’ most iconic island.

With an easy start to the day, thanks to our 8 am hotel pickup, we were eager to explore. Since this was a private tour, our guide, Simpson, let us pick and choose our stops. One of the standouts was the Sapodilla Bay Hill Rock Carvings, where we did a casual hike to a stunning viewpoint and got to see the inscriptions carved into the limestone cliffs. 

After passing by Grace Bay Beach, we made our way to The Hole and learned about the natural sinkhole. I was glad we had Simpson with us because this sinkhole doesn’t have any railings and has some pretty specific rules to visit, so he made sure we didn’t fall in (thanks, Simpson!).

We continued exploring, stopping by downtown Providenciales, the Five Cays Settlement, and more, until Simpson dropped us off at our hotel around noon. It made for a busy morning, but we got a totally new perspective of the island. It made the rest of our days just a little bit sweeter as we explored!

Ports of Call Resort is in a fantastic location, just across from Grace Bay Beach and within walking distance of the best restaurants in the city. This is one of the few resorts in the area, so you can enjoy the pool, restaurants, spa, and gym on-site.

Budget – $

While things aren’t always cheap in Turks and Caicos, Sibonne Beach Hotel is one of the more budget-friendly options, and you’re still right on the beach!
